Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Engineering to lead our engineering department. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of rubber processing plant and machinery, he will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all engineering activities within the organization. This leadership role requires a strong technical background, excellent management skills, and the ability to align engineering operations with strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the engineering team,
  • Develop and execute the engineering strategy in alignment with the company’s objectives.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery.
  • Implement best practices in engineering processes, tools, and technologies to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, operations, QC, etc.) to define technical requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols.
  • Participate in recruitment, performance evaluation, training, and career development of team members.
  • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for engineering output and team effectiveness.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence.
  • Report regularly to senior management on department performance, risks, and opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in engineering with at least 5 years in senior management capacity.
  • Strong technical expertise in the rubber manufacturing plant [relevant technologies or disciplines].
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing engineering teams and complex projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking with a results-driven approach.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and modern project management tools.
  • Budget and resource management experience is a must.
  • Experience in a high-growth environment.
  • Advanced certifications in project management or engineering disciplines.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance relevant to the industry (e.g., ISO, IEEE, CE, etc.).
